Cabo de Palos lighthouse garden
Weather: Sky 1/8 cloud, wind NW F2-4, temp. 8ºC.  07:50 – 09:00.

An earlier start this morning, and I seemed to beat the wind, only to have it to come back up, (and feel cold!).  A few new birds around this morning, a couple of Northern Wheatears, 4 Woodchats, around 15 Willow Warblers and a group of 12 Corn Buntings flew in while I was there (but no sign of Ortolan Bunting, which I’ve had in previous years around about now).

For the 2nd day in succession, a female Common Redstart around the cliffs area

Always obvious when they come in even if not approachable - Woodchat Shrike

One of the 'plainer' residents, Spotless Starling
