El Algar
countryside
Weather: Sky 2-3/8 cloud, wind NE F2,
temp. 16ºC. 15:45 – 18:30.
I spent the
afternoon close to home, checking out some farm reservoirs, the abandoned EDAR
El Algar sewage farm, and ended up in the rambla de Albujon. Nothing major to report, although I did find
a pair of Red-crested Pochard on one farm reservoir, and at the rambla de
Albujon had Common and Jack Snipe, and heard a Quail calling in the distance.
